VW Transporter Kombi Review
Are you looking for the perfect van to hold a large payload allowance and multiple people at the same time? Well, this Volkswagen Transporter Kombi could be for you.
The VW Transporter Kombi is suitable for almost anyone to use. Due to its five/six-seat configuration and 2 removable rear seats, it works perfectly for families or big groups. The comfortability of the Kombi also supports the idea of businesses being able to also use them with either generous or light weight loads.
The VW Transporter Kombi is a T32 short wheelbase in Highline Trim, where its power comes from its 150hp 2.0 engine. The dual-clutch seven-speed DSG transmission has been around for a while and makes the Kombi similar to its previous models yet, it still provides a quick and powerful performance. The Kombi can reach a maximum torque of 340Nm reaching around 1,500rpm and 3,000rpm.
The drive of the VW Transporter Kombi is swift and sophisticated on any type of journey completed. The current hydraulic assist set up of steering offers control and reassurance when driving but the updated version of the Transporter will feature electromechanical power steering. The Kombi is front wheel drive with a McPherson-type strut front suspension and independent rear suspension. Whether carrying a large or light load, the drive will be high quality and effortless, especially with the eight lashing rings to keep your load protected.
The VW Transporter Kombi is a simple and tidy looking van on the outside and on the inside is an uncomplicated layout with lots of space offered. This version of the Kombi is inclusive with 16inch alloys, door handles, aircon and cruise control to name a few. With the 5inch touchscreen installed, add-ons for front and rear parking aids are available for an extra £279 (excluding VAT).
More add-ons for an extra fee include heated front seats (£259) the Discover Media Navigation (£908), the Comfort dash with wide centre console and bottle compartment (£403), metallic paint choices (£557) and carpet flooring (£82).
